| | | | Head Start is a federally funded comprehensive child development program serving three and four year old children from low income families. The goal is to enable the children to achieve social competence and to assist families to achieve self-sufficiency. The children receive educational
services, health/nutrition, and social services. The parents are assisted in becoming actively involved in their child’s educational process through parent involvement and literacy services. Head Start is free of charge to eligible families. |
